Welcome!

The mission of the Salmon Alternative School is to assure that within a nurturing and stimulating environment, all of our students will become competent in those academic and social skills that are necessary to become responsible, productive and compassionate citizens.

The goal of the administrator and teachers is to increase attendance, motivation, and improve self-concept by structuring the academic classes so that students experience short-term success. The key to this is the individualized attention shown toward them by the staff. Our students are encouraged to help design their course study, so they will take accountability and ownership for their students as well as providing increased motivation.

I look forward to getting to know and working with the students as well as their parents.I am confident that together we will have a rich, exciting, and successful year!
